The soft glow of the bedside lamp bathed the room in a warm hue. Grant stood at the foot of their bed, his gaze fixed on Brooke who was leaning against the headboard, a playful smirk on her face. As the dress pooled at her feet, Grant reached out and beckoned her forward. Brooke stepped closer, gently climbing onto the bed until she was straddling his lap.
