Whispers in Twilight

The soft glow of the bedroom lamp cast a warm light over Drew and Maya as they lay together on the plush bed, their backs cushioned against the mound of pillows. The room was filled with the faint scent of lavender from a candle flickering on the nightstand. Drew reached over and traced a finger along the curve of Maya's hip, her skin warm beneath his touch.

"I was thinking," Drew said with a playful smirk, "we could try something new tonight."
