Cole adjusted the cushions on the couch before sitting down, flicking on the large screen in front of him with a knowing grin. He had selected a video earlier, a sultry scene set in a candle-lit bedroom where two performers were locked in a slow, passionate tangle of limbs. As the actors' bodies began to move together on the screen, the heat between them seemed to radiate through the room.

His partner, already feeling the electric charge in the air, sank down beside him, their leg brushing against his bare thigh. They were both dressed casually, jeans and t-shirts, but the clothes suddenly felt heavy. Cole's fingers grazed the back of their neck, tracing lightly up and beneath their shirt.
