Flickering Desire

The living room was dim except for the soft glow of the TV screen playing a video Promo had chosen. On screen, a couple was tangled together on a plush sofa, their skin gleaming in the low light, their movements confident and unhurried.

Promo leaned back into the cushions, Sean beside her, as they both watched the scene unfold. Sean’s hand found its way up her thigh, fingers brushing against the hem of her skirt. She shifted slightly, feeling the warmth of his hand, her own fingers teasing the buttons of his shirt. One by one, they came undone, revealing the line of his collarbones.

She slid off the sofa onto her knees, her hands trailing down his chest to where his jeans were still buttoned. Her fingers deftly undid the button, then the zipper, freeing him from the denim confines.
