He appeared, his presence a comforting warmth as he stepped closer to her. "Ready?" he murmured, his voice a low rumble that seemed to vibrate in her chest. Meg nodded, a smile tugging at her lips, and handed him the blindfold. As he tied it over her eyes, shutting out the room around her, the world softened into a hazy anticipation. She felt his hands brush her hair back, his fingertips skimming her jawline, a touch so gentle it made her shiver.

The game began with his touch — soft, exploratory, turning familiar sensations into something thrillingly unfamiliar. With her vision obscured, every touch heightened; she felt the cool glide of his fingertips teasing along her arms, the heat of his mouth tracing the column of her throat. She leaned into it, giving little gasps as he found the sensitive spots, igniting her skin.

He guided her back until she was leaning against the couch, his knee nudging her legs apart just enough for him to settle between them.
