In the Garden

The garden was bathed in the warm, golden glow of the setting sun, casting long shadows over the soft grass where Connor and Hannah had laid a large picnic blanket. The air was rich with the scents of blooming jasmine and freshly cut lawn, and a light breeze whispered through the trees around them. It was the perfect sanctuary, bordered by high hedges that offered privacy from the outside world.

Connor lay back on the blanket, his head resting comfortably on Hannah's lap. He wore a loose cotton sundress that allowed the breeze to brush against his skin, sending little shivers down his spine. Hannah's fingers traced gentle patterns along his shoulders, following the straps of his dress, and he closed his eyes, savoring the sensation. He felt her lips descend to press a line of affectionate kisses from his forehead down to his lips, each one deliberate, making him smile.

"You know," Hannah murmured, her breath warm against his ear, "I've been thinking about trying something new." Her voice had that playful edge he loved, and he responded by arching his body towards her, eager to see what she had in mind.

"Are you up for an adventure?" she asked, producing a soft, silk blindfold from her back pocket. Connor's heart skipped a beat, excitement mingling with a hint of apprehension. He nodded, whispering a soft 'yes' that barely carried over the rustling leaves. Hannah slipped the fabric over his eyes, securing it gently and enveloping his world in darkness.
