Laughter in the Light

The early evening sun filtered through the bedroom curtains, casting warm patterns across the softest cream throw they owned. Alex lay sprawled on the bed, watching Maya as they both lay together, the room filled with a sense of playful anticipation.

Alex rolled onto his side, his hands beginning to explore beneath Maya's shirt. "Feels nice," he murmured, with a teasing smile that invited her laughter. She nudged him back, and they began undressing each other in gentle, playful tugs, their clothes landing in an untidy heap on the floor.
