Flickering Shadows

The living room was dimly lit, the only light coming from the television that cast flickering shadows against the walls. Sean and Sofia sat on the plush couch, a swirl of anticipation in the air. On the screen, a video played—a scene with a couple in an opulent bedroom, the man trailing kisses down the woman's stomach as she writhed beneath him. Sofia shifted closer to Sean, her bare leg brushing against his jeans as a visible shiver ran down her spine.
