The bedroom was dimly lit as the late afternoon sun filtered through the blinds. Zoe lay on the plush duvet, her skin still warm from the shower. Kyle stood by the window, holding a small glass of ice water, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

With a slow, deliberate pace, Kyle approached Zoe, the coolness of the glass noticeable against the heat still radiating from her skin.
