Morning Ritual

The morning sun filtered through the curtains of the bedroom, casting gentle patterns across the room as Noah lay sprawled on the wide bed. His partner stirred beside him, the weight of the thick duvet still half covering her. He grinned, trailing a finger over Ava's hip, the anticipation of their morning ritual stirring through him.
