The Dim Light

The living room was dimly lit, the only light coming from the laptop screen perched on the coffee table. Dylan settled into the plush couch, Becca snuggling close beside him. The air was thick with anticipation as they clicked play on the video—a sultry, slow-burn scene set in a luxurious hotel room. On-screen, a couple moved in a languorous tango of touch and taste, the woman straddling her partner, her hips rolling in an intimate rhythm.

Dylan felt the stir of something electric as he watched, his hand sliding over to rest on Becca's thigh, fingers tracing the seam of her jeans.
