The Morning Light

Their bedroom was dimly lit, the curtains half-drawn to let in the soft morning light that brushed across the sheets. Grant and Zoe lay side by side, their legs entwined like a slow dance beneath the covers. Grant wore an oversized t-shirt and nothing underneath, while Zoe had only her pajama shorts on.

Grant reached for the remote and turned on the television at the foot of their bed. A video of a couple engaged in passionate oral sex filled the screen, the woman eagerly taking her partner deep into her mouth while he watched intently, his hand tangled in her hair. The act on screen mirrored one of Grant's long-time favorites and instantly sparked a warm need low in Zoe's belly.

Zoe noticed the change in her breathing, how her chest rose and fell faster with each inhale. She pressed closer, her hand finding the hem of his shirt and slipping underneath. Her fingers lazily traced his nipple, coaxing it to a peak while her other arm wrapped around his waist, pulling him into her. Grant arched into her touch, a small gasp leaving his lips as he turned his head to meet her eyes, his own filled with a playful challenge.

They shifted together until Zoe was straddling him, her thighs on either side of his hips. She rolled her hips forward, feeling the responsive heat through the fabric of his shorts against her nakedness. He groaned softly, his hands finding her hips, guiding her rhythm. The more they moved, the more the tension built until Zoe leaned down, capturing his mouth with hers. She pulled back just enough to whisper, "I want to try something new."
