The bathroom was enveloped in the warm mist from the running shower, the glass door fogging up and hiding everything but the blurred forms within. Lucas and Becca stood under the cascading water, the droplets tracing rivulets down their bodies, and the scent of Becca's lavender shampoo mingled with the steam around them.

They had been teasing each other playfully, laughing as Lucas tried to shampoo Becca's hair, hints of roughness in their touches, the sudden pull of his hand in her wet curls making her gasp. The laughter subsided into a more intense kind of quiet, and Lucas leaned in, pressing Becca against the cool tiles.
