Under the Steam

The steam from the hot shower enveloped Carter and Simone as they stepped into the glass-enclosed space, water cascading over their skin. The overhead spray was relentless, exerting a gentle pressure that made Simone's hair cling to her shoulders, the droplets tracing paths across her collarbones.
