Whispers in the Dark

The bedroom was dimly lit by the soft glow of a single bedside lamp, casting golden hues across the room. Owen lay face down on the king-sized bed, his muscles tense in anticipation. The air was filled with the soothing scent of lavender oil, which Chloe warmed between her palms before starting to work on his broad shoulders.

She began with long, firm strokes, using her thumbs to knead the stress from his upper back. Owen's eyes fluttered shut as he melted into her touch, a satisfied hum escaping his lips. As she moved lower, she leaned in closer, her warm breath a whisper against his ear, "How does this feel?" His response was a low murmur of pleasure, punctuated by a shiver that ran down his spine.
